Availability has several layers
An action must be supported by the reviewed Windsor connector, exposed by TradeVulcan for the connected installation, allowed by the provider account, and permitted for your app and role. The connection must also allow approved external actions.
The additional named Windsor connections described in this release can be read-only. If the card says external changes are unavailable, do not try to enable them by wording a prompt differently. Even a connector action catalog does not prove that your particular ad account may execute every listed operation.
Discover controls without changing anything
For the selected Windsor Meta account, list the currently supported campaign controls and their approval requirements. This is a control-discovery request only. Do not prepare or execute changes.
Work should use the action catalog for this question, not query every campaign metric or inspect every schema. When you select a particular change, it can then retrieve that action’s exact parameters. Partial catalog output is not a complete list of everything the provider supports.
Prepare a specific external change
- Identify the exact provider, account and campaign/ad object from a current authorized read.
- State the specific change and the values you want, including currency, budget units, dates and timezone where relevant.
- Ask Work to inspect the chosen action’s requirements and prepare a preview.
- Read the target, parameters, financial consequences and warnings on the action card.
- Approve only after the full proposal matches your decision.
Use deliberate guardrails in the prompt
For the exact campaign I selected, check whether a pause action is available through this Windsor connection. If supported, prepare only that pause for approval. Do not change other campaigns, budgets, creatives or the local Lead Forge tracking record.
For creative or budget work, state whether the intended object must remain paused. Do not assume every provider action supports a draft state. If the provider cannot represent the requested safe state, stop and use its native editor instead of accepting an unreviewed substitute.
A local campaign update is not this operation
Work’s native Lead Forge campaign controls update local tracking data. Changing a local status or planning budget does not stop ads or change provider spending. Read the action title and target to confirm which system will be affected.
Generating an ad image is also a separate private-file operation. It does not prove that the asset was uploaded to a provider, attached to the chosen ad or made live.
Verify before another change
After approval, inspect the saved outcome and use an authorized follow-up read or the provider interface. Provider acceptance can precede final completion. An unknown outcome must be investigated before retrying; a repeated request may duplicate an effect.
If the connection or provider tool changed, refresh and reselect scope, then prepare a new exact preview. Preserve the original operation reference. Disconnecting a plugin does not undo advertising changes already made.
