Organize conversations with project folders and history

Create, pin and rename folders, move chats and return to saved work without confusing organization with shared access or merged context.

What a project folder is

A Vulcan Intelligence project folder organizes your dashboard conversations in the active workspace. It is a convenient way to keep a campaign audit, a website refresh or an operating procedure together. It is not a shared team drive, a customer record or a new app deployment.

Folders do not combine the full context of every chat, share conversations with colleagues, grant access to another app, or authorize a plugin. Keep important decisions in the conversation where you want to continue the work.

Create a useful structure

  1. Open the conversation history panel in Vulcan Intelligence.
  2. Create a folder with a clear name, such as Website refresh or Monthly advertising review.
  3. Use a conversation’s options menu to move it into the intended folder.
  4. Pin frequently used projects. Pinned folders appear first; expand or collapse the rest as needed.

Find and continue a conversation

Search can match project names, conversation titles and previews. Open the original chat for a follow-up that depends on a saved recommendation or approval. A brand-new chat cannot be assumed to possess the same saved analysis or selected provider installation.

When continuing, restate the key target and check the latest status. A draft from last week may be stale. A pending operation may already have completed after the page closed. The saved receipt—not the age of the visible message—tells you what happened.

Rename, unpin or remove a folder

Use the folder controls to rename or unpin it. Removing a folder requires confirmation and returns its chats to Recent chats; it does not delete the messages. Deleting a conversation is a separate action.

A concurrent edit can make folder state stale. Reload the current history before trying again rather than creating duplicate folders. Folder changes are personal to your signed-in user within the selected workspace.

A practical monthly workflow

TRY THIS PROMPT

Using the selected Windsor connection, summarize last month’s Google Ads results. Keep the account, dates and definitions in the report so we can compare the same view next month.

Keep each month’s analysis in its own clearly named conversation within the same folder. Ask for a new read for the next period; do not reuse old metrics as if they were current. Attach the resulting report to the relevant business process only through a supported explicit action.

For client or multi-workspace work, check the active workspace before opening Connections or approving anything. A folder name is not evidence that the underlying account selection changed.
