A local marketing assistant, not an automatic profile editor
Use Vulcan Intelligence to research a public business question, compare visible website messaging and prepare a local-content plan. Ask explicitly for public research when current facts or competitor pages matter. Work should cite the returned sources and distinguish observations from recommendations.
The documented Work action catalog does not provide dedicated Map Forge or Google Business Profile editing controls. Do not assume that a connected provider elsewhere in TradeVulcan authorizes profile changes from Work.
Research a narrow question
Research the public websites of the three electrical businesses I name in our city. Compare service-page structure, visible contact paths and public trust information. Cite sources and the check date. Do not infer their ad spend, revenue or rankings, and do not edit our profile.
Use publicly available business information. A missing phone number, service page or quoted price in the sources remains unverified; the assistant should not invent it. A visible website claim is not independent proof of the competitor’s performance.
Turn findings into an owner review
- Confirm the target city, service and public sites to compare.
- Review the cited observations and discard anything not supported by the sources.
- Ask for prioritized actions with the intended destination: website, service-area page, Business Profile or Map Forge workspace.
- Make and verify the actual changes through the destination’s supported controls.
Create useful location content
A good local page explains real coverage, relevant services and the next step for that community. Provide owner-confirmed facts and useful differences. Do not generate dozens of near-identical pages simply by swapping city names or claiming service areas the company does not cover.
For a Web Spark website, use its Plan and Coverage stages and the corresponding documentation. For a GitHub/Vercel website, use the explicitly selected repository and project workflow. A local-content draft is not automatically published in either place.
Measure without inventing a win
Record the date, source and baseline of any report you use. A website review is not a rank-tracking report or proof of increased calls. Use the owning tools for their actual metrics, and ask Work to preserve limitations when explaining them.
If live data is unavailable, Work can still create a measurement plan or checklist. It should label that as planning, not a completed audit of private business performance.
