Choose the source of the question
A public research request uses public information from the human’s brief. A workspace list request uses authorized internal lead records. These are different data paths; do not assume that public research imports contacts or that private customer information will be sent to web search.
Name the public business, service or broad geography you want researched. For private reporting, select the relevant workspace and records instead. Ask Work to identify which source supplied each conclusion.
Write a sourced public research prompt
Research the public websites of the home-service companies I list. Compare their service navigation, visible offers and contact paths. Cite the sources and retrieval date. Do not guess revenue, ad spend, personal contact details or search rankings, and do not import or contact anyone.
A business discovery result is a bounded set of public findings, not a complete directory. A published phone number or address should be used only when relevant and directly supported. Missing details stay missing. Publicly visible contact information does not automatically establish permission to market.
Build an internal lead candidate list
- State the literal service terms and lead stage you want: all, unbooked or booked.
- Specify inclusive dates in the workspace’s calendar context, rather than leaving the period ambiguous.
- Request a bounded list with the fields needed for review.
- Inspect the preview and use the explicit save/export controls when appropriate.
- Review consent, exclusions and intended use separately before any outreach workflow.
Example internal list request
Prepare an internal candidate list of unbooked generator inquiries for the dates I specify. Keep it within my authorized lead records, show the selection criteria and flag any missing contact information. Do not send messages or enroll the list in a campaign.
The documented list path is bounded and defaults to a recent period when dates are not provided. Give dates and a sensible limit for repeatable work. Do not present a preview as a complete universe or silently scrape external prospects to make up the difference.
What a forecast can and cannot add
For a weather-related business question, explicitly name the US city. The supported weather path uses an approximate city-area National Weather Service forecast and reports the resolved place and time. It does not use a customer’s private address or predict exact lead volume.
Use weather context to plan messaging or staffing discussions, not to claim a guaranteed increase in demand or authorize a campaign without review.
Keep the next action separate
A research brief, CSV or list is a private preparation artifact. It does not create contacts, book appointments, launch ads or certify consent. Use the appropriate native or provider action only after selecting the exact target and reviewing the effect.
If sources are unavailable or a query is incomplete, keep the limitation visible in the deliverable. A useful draft with an honest evidence gap is better than a finished-looking report built on invented facts.
