Recommended lead fields
Map the fields that help a CSR or dispatcher act without opening three systems.
- Customer name
- Phone
- Service type
- Service address
- Job value when available
- Lead source
- Campaign or source page
- Status
- Notes
- Created date/time
Avoid duplicates
Use the TradeVulcan record ID as an external ID or lookup key when the destination app supports it. If not, use phone plus created date, email plus source, or a Zapier lookup step.
Format phone and address fields
Keep phone numbers in one normalized phone field where possible. Split address fields only when the destination app requires separate street, city, state, and postal code values.
